Wood pellets in Germany are still cheap in June. Across Germany, a ton costs an average of € 221.35 (purchase: 6 t), reports the German Pellet Institute (DEPI). That is 2% more than in May and 2.9% less than last year. The kilo price is 22.14 cents, the kilowatt hour (kWh) of heat from pellets is 4.43 cents.
The following regional differences arise in the price of wood pellets in June 2021 (purchase quantity: 6 t):
In southern Germany, pellets are again the cheapest at € 218.19 / t, followed by the middle of Germany at € 220.65 / t. In northern / eastern Germany, the average price for a ton of pellets is € 223.39. In contrast to the other regions, it has decreased here.
Larger quantities (26 t) will be traded in June 2021 under the following conditions:
South: € 205.45 / t, center: € 205.68 / t, north / east: € 212.93 / t (all including VAT).
