The German producer price indices for oak showed various tendencies in June 2024. On average, the index for log wood decreased by -0,9% to 129,6 points. For A-Quality there was not enough data availible. B qualities reached the level of 135,8 points ( -3,4% ), to which 3 m lengths contributed with -0,5% to 132,2 points – and 5 m lengths with -4,2% to 135,6 .

C qualities in June reached 140,1 points ( 0,8% ) – in 3 m lengths 146,9 ( 1,8% ). 5 m lengths reached 146,3 points ( -0,1% ).

For oak pulpwood Destatis calculated an index of 90,4 points ( 5,1% ). Pulpwood of beech reached 134,2 points ( -3,2% ). The hardwood pulpwood index arrived at 127,6 points ( -2,3% ).
